Where it all started! Attending our high school prom together.

We both went to Western University together and graduated in 2017. We then went on to complete graduate degrees from Western as well. Some of our favourite things to do in London were grabbing a bagel at the Spoke, annual apple picking, visiting the McIntosh art gallery between classes, and enjoying the downtown food scene together!

Covid interfered with our travel plans after university, so in 2022 we took a road trip out east. Here we are after kayaking the Bay of Fundy! One of Maher's favourite things to do is travel, so we have many plans to see the world together.

While on a short trip to Calgary, Maher convinced Leah to go on a helicopter ride to see the Rockies (Leah hates flying!). It ended up being the best way to see as much as we could in a short amount of time!

We got engaged on August 26th 2023 after 11 years of being together. Maher planned a picnic near the Welland canal and Leah was completely shocked when he pulled out a ring!

Our wonderful friends who we have been close with since high school, and who are all part of our day in a special way, surprised us with dinner to celebrate our engagement.

Some of our best memories together are spending weekends away to nearby cities to explore the food scene and local attractions. Here we are in Ithaca this past year, but we have also spent weekends away in Kitchener, Peterborough, Elora, the Thousand Islands, Collingwood, St. Thomas, and more!
